An original gift we brought with our business cards when visiting 3daysofdesign in Denmark.
We designed a paper sleeve, inspired by the traditional wrapping style using kaishi paper, for “Daimon CHOPSTICKS” chopsticks—high-quality cedar chopsticks made in Higashiyoshino, Nara—and added our message to it.
Design can appeal to the human heart, transcending borders, languages, and cultures. That is why we decided to imbue this tool with the Japanese sense of beauty that we have cultivated in our daily lives in Japan, and give it to the people we met from all over the world.
The result was reflected in the beaming smiles and surprised faces of everyone who received and opened them.
