We designed the corporate website for HOZO Inc., a Tokyo-based creative unit run by an incredible couple—photographer/cinematographer Rakuda-san and designer Noda-san!
Meeting Noda-san was total coincidence. I’d been following her on Instagram for a while thinking, “Wow, her work is so cool.” Then, as luck would have it, Nottuo and Noda-san were featured side by side in the MdN Designers File 2026. I gathered my courage to message her, one thing led to another, and soon enough I was visiting their studio!
Despite it being our first meeting, we just clicked. We lost track of time talking about everything from design, architecture, craft, and art, to world peace. It was such a comfortable conversation that I ended up staying way longer than planned. I still remember how instantly we bonded like it was yesterday.
Given that history, I was thrilled when they asked us to build the company website they’d been planning for years. Rakuda-san even told me, “Just feel free to challenge yourself and do what you love, Suzuki-san.” Deeply inspired by their amazing work, we crafted a site designed to highlight the full charm of their creative spirit.
Every Tokyo meeting ended with dinner and more endless, inspiring talks that gave me so much energy. (Fun behind-the-scenes fact: Noda-san’s manga recommendations never miss—I buy them instantly every single time!)
