Open Call: Internship at nottuo Inc.

nottuo inc. is currently looking for interns.

nottuo is a branding and design firm based in Nishiawakura, a village of about 1,400 people in Okayama Prefecture.

The future nottuo envisions is a society where designers are active in every region, fostering strong, positive relationships with business owners. We aim for a world where a design perspective is integrated into the management of all types of companies, allowing every community to showcase its own unique charm.

If you’re interested in working in a rural setting while collaborating with small and medium-sized enterprises across Japan and creating work with global reach, we encourage you to apply.

Additionally, from last year, we established TenTen Inc., a new operating company and brother company to nottuo. Focusing on the Chisha district of Nishiawakura Village where we live, TenTen aims to preserve and pass on the traditional Satoyama (village and mountain landscape) lifestyle cultivated here for generations. Under the TenTen name, we are launching initiatives in agriculture, food, and lodging, transforming the local natural abundance and blessings into value we can proudly share with the world.

Believing strongly in the power of creativity, we are committed to building and communicating the value of our local area ourselves. If this vision resonates with you, we would love to talk.

Furthermore, depending on your interests, this internship provides opportunities to engage in conversations about the future, not just with designers, but with people from various generations working in Nishiawakura. We believe this experience will broaden your creative horizons and offer fresh perspectives.

We look forward to the exciting new connections this internship will bring.
