私たちnottuo（ノッツオ）は、日本の岡山県西粟倉村という、人口約1,300人の小さな村を拠点に、世界を舞台に活動するデザインスタジオです。
グラフィック、Web、プロダクト、空間、そしてブランディング。領域を横断し、社会に新しい選択肢を生み出す私たちのチームでは、現在、ワーキングホリデー・ビザを利用して日本に滞在するデザイナーやクリエイターを募集しています。

nottuoでのワーキングホリデーは、あなたが今どんな経験を求めているかに応じて、過ごし方を選ぶことができます。
【正社員へのステップとしての「お試し」期間として】
「将来的に日本でデザイナーとして働きたい」という方。現在nottuoでは外国籍デザイナーの正社員採用を積極的に行っています。まずは2週間〜3ヶ月のワーキングホリデーを利用して、仕事の内容や村での暮らしが自分に合うかどうかを体感してみてください。

「日本滞在の数ヶ月を、濃密なデザインの現場で過ごしたい」という方。様々な分野のプロフェッショナルが集まるこの村で、クリエイティビティを刺激し合える時間を共に過ごしましょう。
● nottuoのワーキングホリデーで体験できること
1. 辺境から世界へ
デンマークでの新プロダクト公開や国内外のブランディング案件など、日本の地方にいながら世界基準のプロジェクトに携わることができます。グラフィックから建築まで、全方位でクリエイションを行う現場を体感していただくことができます。
2. 社会課題に挑むマイクロエリアブランド「点々」
2024年、nottuoは初の自社ブランド「点々（てんてん）」を立ち上げました。舞台は、自動販売機も横断歩道もない20世帯40人の小さな集落。養鶏を中心とした地域資源の循環に取り組み、地域の風景を次世代に引き継ぐための新しいビジネスを創出しています。
希望される方は、デザイン業務の傍ら、この「点々」のプロジェクト（ケージフリーの養鶏や今後の宿泊・レストラン展開の準備など）にも参加可能です。人口減少や畜産業においての社会課題に対する「一つの答え」を、自らの手で形にする経験が得られます。
※点々のプロジェクトへの参加は希望制です。主業務はデザイン・企画補助となります。
3. 村での暮らしと交流
森に囲まれた西粟倉村での生活。日々の仕事の合間には、山や川のある風景の中で過ごし、都市とは異なる時間の流れを体感できます。地元の人々との何気ない会話や、この地を訪れる国内外のクリエイターとの交流を通じて、働くことと暮らすことが地続きになる感覚や、新しい生き方・働き方のヒントを見つけることができます。

● 待遇・採用条件
報酬： 日給 7,000円〜12,000円（経験・スキルにより決定）※実働日数に応じて支給
宿泊： 社員寮への入居、または近隣の宿泊施設等の紹介・補助（応相談）
勤務時間： 9:00〜18:00（休憩1時間）
休日： 完全週休2日制（土日）、祝日

nottuo is a design studio based in Nishiawakura Village, Okayama Prefecture—a small rural village of about 1,300 people in western Japan.
From this remote location, we work globally across graphic design, web, product, spatial design, and branding, creating new possibilities for society through cross-disciplinary practice.

A Trial Period Toward Full-Time Employment

● What You Can Experience Through nottuo’s Working Holiday Program
1. From the Edge of Japan to the World
While based in a rural area, you will engage with international-standard projects, such as global branding initiatives and overseas product launches (including Denmark).
From graphic design to architecture, you will experience a fully integrated creative process that spans multiple disciplines.
2. “TenTen(点々)”: A Micro-Area Brand Addressing Social Issues
In 2024, nottuo launched its first in-house brand, TenTen.
The project is based in a tiny settlement of 20 households (around 40 people), with no traffic lights or vending machines. Centered around free-range poultry farming, Tenten works to create a sustainable circulation of local resources and new businesses that preserve rural landscapes for future generations.
Those who wish may participate in the Tenten project alongside design work—such as cage-free poultry farming, or preparations for future accommodation and restaurant initiatives.
This offers hands-on experience in shaping responses to social challenges such as depopulation and the sustainability of the livestock industry.
Rather than presenting a single “solution,” TenTen is an ongoing experiment—one possible answer shaped through practice, trial, and daily life.
Participation in the TenTen project is optional. The primary role remains design and planning support.
3. Life and Exchange in the Village
Living in Nishiawakura Village, surrounded by forests, mountains, and rivers, allows you to experience a rhythm of life very different from the city.
Between work, you can spend time in nature, feel the slower flow of time, and engage in casual conversations with local residents. You will also meet visiting creators from Japan and abroad.
Through these everyday encounters, you may begin to feel how work and life blend into one continuous experience, and discover new ways of living and working.

● Main Responsibilities
・Assisting with design projects (graphic design, web design, presentation materials, etc.)
・Supporting research and translation for international projects
・Assisting in the operation of in-house products and brands (including Tenten)
・Supporting general studio operations
※Specific tasks will be discussed based on your skills and interests.
※In line with the purpose of the Working Holiday visa, this program emphasizes cultural exchange and experiential learning.
● Eligibility
①Must hold a valid Working Holiday visa for Japan
②Must be able to communicate in basic conversational Japanese
※Able to understand simple task explanations and communicate with the team
※English-speaking staff are also available
③Strong interest in rural / remote areas × design × social issues
● Preferred Skills
・Experience with Adobe software such as Illustrator and Photoshop
・A valid driver’s license (highly convenient for getting around the village)
● Compensation & Conditions
Daily wage: JPY 7,000 – 12,000 (depending on experience and skills)
Paid based on actual working days

Introduction to nearby accommodation with possible support (negotiable)

Days off: Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese public holidays
