We are based in the Chisha settlement of Nishiawakura Village, a rural community with a population of approximately 1,300 in Okayama Prefecture, where we engage in daily design work. In this satoyama, where we live and work, we have launched the micro-area brand “Ten Ten” to share the irreplaceable value of nature’s rhythms and human craftsmanship with the world.

As firm believers in the power of design, we strive to uncover and nurture the value that exists right in our immediate surroundings, making it more visible and tangible.

Creating a Landscape Within a 1km Radius

This is the guiding principle behind the Tenten brand.

A 1km radius may seem like a small area—just enough to take in the entire settlement at a glance and walk through it daily. However, precisely because it is so close to us, we take full ownership, engaging with it sincerely and committing ourselves to nurturing it as a micro-area brand.

As the first step, we began with poultry farming. Through eggs, we are fostering a local resource circulation system, delivering nature’s blessings to our customers. By transforming the challenges of the countryside into meaningful value that can be shared with the world, we aim to create a sustainable and beautiful satoyama landscape.
